Lessons
Weekly lessons are held in the convenience of the student's home, instructor's home, and via Zoom. Instruments taught are voice and piano. It's important that students be prepared for their lesson. Please remember to have all necessary learning materials at your lesson. Students are expected to have washed hands and trimmed fingernails. All lessons include a 3-Minute "wrap-up" period to make sure that the student clearly understands the assignment.
Practice
Students are expected to practice and be prepared with their music and theory assignments which are posted via Google Classroom. This is part of the learning process. In order for musical growth to occur, it is vital that the musician practice daily. Young musicians should always practice under parental guidance. It is the parents’ responsibility to encourage and remind our young musicians to practice by setting up a weekly practice schedule. By working together our efforts will be more than amply rewarded.
Enrollment
To become a member, one must enroll with the JLM Music Academy. The client must submit the required Agreement Form, complete the Contact Page, along with the initial enrollment payment which includes: a one-time nonrefundable Enrollment Fee of $20.00, First and Last (nonrefundable) Month's tuition. The Last Month's tuition payment is paid in lieu of 30-day disenrollment notice. The enrollment payment is due in advance and must be paid before a student is accepted and added to the official schedule.
Agreement
Below is the JLM Music Academy agreement. Please download the agreement, complete, sign, and submit it along with your required enrollment materials (agreement, academy contact information, enrollment fee, first and last month's tuition) prior to your first scheduled lesson.

Photos | Video
The JLM Music Academy takes photos and video of students at our annual Fall and Spring Recital and/or in lessons, for use with online or print marketing. If you prefer that the academy not use your or your student’s likeness, please email the academy at jlmacademy@joseluismunoz.com, and your request will be happily honored.
